OUR mission

for the church to live out the freedom and power of the gospel

OUR STORY

Be Free Ministries starts with Pastor Sam Lee’s journey. In 2010, his marriage was less than ideal, with a constant pattern of fighting and arguing. He was coming out a season of depression, not knowing who he really was.

Then God spoke, “Sam, you are going to write a book and do conference about this journey of becoming free.”

His response: “What?!? I don’t want to do that.”

But that’s how he knew it wasn’t from him or ambition but really from God.

It took 10 years and a lot of God rearranging and turning his life upside down (in a good way!), but the Be Free book and ministry was birthed in 2020.

Now he uses Be Free to help pastors, ministry leaders and churches get free from the heavy weight of carrying people’s expectations and trying to measure up. He wants to help you realize that we don’t get our value, worth, or identity from what we do or what others think about us, but from what Jesus has done for us.

Our prayer is that you experience more life, boldness, joy, fruitfulness, and freedom that you have in Christ! Join us on this life-altering, mind-stretching, life-giving journey to freedom.
